The Midtown Arts and Design Alliance (MADA) is a creative cultural center in the center of Santa Fe that will provide affordable space and accessible arts, design, and cultural education and programming for community members of all ages.

Email Sign-upMADA is repurposing 50,000 sq ft of abandoned buildings on the Santa Fe Midtown Campus, including the iconic Visual Arts Center buildings, designed by Ricardo Legorreta, and the last remaining Barracks from the historic WWII Brunns Military Hospital.
We have reached over 30% of our fundraising goals to date! In summer 2025, we will execute a long term ground lease with the City and hope to break ground in early 2026! Transformative projects like this are only possible with the enthusiasm and support of our community partners!
We aim to enrich the Santa Fe community by providing shared, creative spaces that amplify underrepresented voices and foster equity, unity, and belonging.
Our vision incorporates extensive community engagement and collaboration spanning five years, with contributions from local residents and artists about their ideas, hopes, and dreams about the future of Midtown.
